Re: Residential work done by Dick Wagner Construction
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
I first was contacted by Dick Wagner himself in a phone call. I had
gone online and found a link to contractors who did concrete garage
flooring repair and renewal. Mr. Wagner was given my contact
information from that web site. I received three other calls from people
in response to my very small
project but each of the others wanted a minimum of $2,000 or $2,500. I
knew my job and I knew it
was far smaller than that.
Mr. Wagner said, "No job too small." I wasn't sure I believed that
because, after all, he was a licensed,
bonded contractor from the San Fernando Valley and I was in the San
Gabriel Valley area. But he described
what needed to be done to repair my old concrete foundation and I had
researched it on the Internet and he said he would do just what I
thought needed to be done so I said, "OK, let's give it a try."
Dick and John arrived and were very competent, intelligent, pleasant
people and completed the job in less than five hours to my satisfaction.
They even did a little painting to make things look even better. I will
call them when my G Floor vinyl flooring arrives for installation. To be
sure, I will call them again when other projects present themselves.
I believe this company to be reputable and knowledgeable and I would
recommend them to others. They work in a handshake system (for such a
small job) which I knew well growing up but which has become either
outdated or dangerous but it is neither with Dick Wagner. He does what
he says he will do and I am a happy, relieved homeowner. There was no
destruction, just construction. That's the way I like it.
